Bi­pasha wishes huge suc­cess for Grover’s flick

Ac­tor Bi­pasha Basu (right) wishes the up­com­ing film of her ru­moured boyfriend Karan Singh Grover (in­set) to be hugely suc­cess­ful. Karan, 33, will next be seen in an erotic­thriller. He acted with Bi­pasha in hor­ror film Alone, that re­leased ear­lier this year and marked his full-fledged de­but in films.

“I wish them all the best (for the film). Ev­ery­one has a jour­ney that one has to take and I wish all the peo­ple all the very best. And es­pe­cially Karan...,” Bi­pasha says. Ear­lier, Karan starred in cameo roles in films such as Bhram (2008) and I Am 24 (2010).

The ac­tor, who an­nounced sep­a­ra­tion from ac­tor, wife Jen­nifer Winget last Novem­ber af­ter two years of mar­riage, has been linked with Bi­pasha since their first movie out­ing.

The pair, how­ever, has used the usual and safe “good friends” la­bel to de­scribe each other. So, when asked about her “good friend”, the 36-year-old “Raaz” ac­tor took a dig at the me­dia and said she has other friends in the industry too, in­clud­ing her Bachna Ae Haseeno (2007) co-star Ran­bir Kapoor. “‘Good friend’. I have many good friends. My good friend Ran­bir Kapoor is also com­ing up with a film... He is much closer and I have known him for many, many years.” Bi­pasha and Karan of­ten share pic­tures on so­cial me­dia of spend­ing time and cel­e­brat­ing birth­days to­gether. They were also seen hol­i­day­ing in Mal­dives ear­lier this year. Bi­pasha has pre­vi­ously dated ac­tors John Abra­ham and Har­man Baweja. Karan, who is known for his hit TV show Qu­bool Hai and Dill Mill Gayye, was mar­ried to ac­tor Shrad­dha Nigam be­fore ty­ing the knot with Winget.
