National awardwinning actor Usha Jadhav (left), best known for her stellar performance in the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Bhoothnath Returns (2014), will join the jury panel at the prestigious All Lights India International Film Festival.

The festival is in Kochi from November 15 to 19. The actor is looking forward to sharing the stage with stalwarts like Kamal Haasan, Mohanlal and others. “When they approached me, I was more than willing. All big names from the industry will be there. I realised that it was a great opportunity for me to be a part of a film festival jury as I've never done that.”

Indywood Panorama Competition is a representation of main Indian Language Films that competes for the best Indian Film Award which is officially announced as Indywood Panorama Award. Plus, Usha's Indo-Australian project with actor Rajeev Khandelwal will also be screened at the festival. Titled Salt Bridge, the film will be premiered on November 17. “I am excited about watching my own film. It is not in the competition but I'm looking forward to people’s reactions. I also want to watch the regional films that are going to be screened. A lot of National Awards are picked up by regional films and more often than not, we don’t get to watch them. Plus it is good to judge films than to be judged all the time,” she says.
