Ever since he exited a TV show in June, actor Shashank Vyas (above) has been enjoying his free time. Since he's worked continuously for five years for the daily soap, the actor now wants “to expand his horizons”. The 28-year-old actor says, “I don't miss my work yet. Every once in a while we should take a break. Mumbai has become a concrete jungle. It is all about working non-stop, being stuck in traffic, earning money, and, in the end, having no time for yourself. One should balance life and work and breathe in some fresh air.”

In the last four months, he's been to Bangkok (Thailand), Leh-Ladakh (Jammu & Kashmir), and he recently returned from a holiday in the US. “Travelling thrills me and rejuvenates me. Work is important, but I also need to see the mountains, breathe in the fresh air, look at cattle wandering in farms and sky dive,” says Shashank, who's also looking to join a dance class. “It will be a good way to get fit. I am focusing on my physique, health and diet.”
