Ford lands copter in wed­ding

Hol­ly­wood vet­eran Harrison Ford (left) sur­prised a cou­ple on their wed­ding day, by land­ing his he­li­copter at the venue.

Ford, 73, who sus­tained crit­i­cal in­juries in a plane crash on March 5, touched down his he­li­copter at a wed­ding site in Sad­dle­rock Rock Ranch in Mal­ibu, Cal­i­for­nia, re­ported Us mag­a­zine. “The re­cep­tion was about to be held in the same area where they al­low chop­pers to land. His wed­ding gift for the new­ly­weds, was a pic­ture with the bride and groom!,” a source said.

Re­gard­less of the ac­tor’s ac­ci­dent in March, his wife Cal­ista Flock­hart says she stands by her hus­band’s choice to fly. “You know, he loves it, so I love it. And I sup­port him 100 per­cent in that,” she said. The ac­tor, had to be hos­pi­talised with a bro­ken pelvis and an­kle af­ter he was forced to crash-land his plane.
