Actor Varun Dhawan, who has had five releases so far, has been extremely lucky at the box office. His sixth film is Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Kriti Sanon. Though the film’s most talked-about point is SRK and Kajol’s chemistry, for Varun, it is a huge moment to act opposite SRK so early on in his career. He was surprised by the ‘actor’ that Shah Rukh is. “We keep calling Shah Rukh a star but you have to see SRK, the actor. Even after so many years, he works so hard. The amount of energy he puts into every shot, it’s unbelievable. As a producer, he is so hands on and is constantly taking care of everyone on the sets.”

After Dilwale, he will finish working on brother Rohit Dhawan’s thriller, Dishoom, followed by another film with Shashank Khaitan and then another he is planning to work on with his father. He reveals, “I am working on a film with my dad (director David Dhawan). He has been wanting to do something different for a while now. It will not be a typical comedy film. I told him that we should make it because I wanted to work with him again. He is working on a script now, let’s see how it goes.”
