Actor Sanah Kapur (left), who made her Bollywood debut with Vikas Bahl’s Shaandaar alongside her brother, actor Shahid Kapoor, and father Pankaj Kapur, says that having her family in the same industry adds to the pressure of performing well. “People expect more from me. But it’s also exciting because I have more to prove,” she says.

Sanah adds that Shahid and Pankaj did not interfere in her acting at all. “They gave me my space. It’s not like they were giving me tips all the time,” she says. The actor also says that she wants to do more relatable characters. “I want to try out different roles. But no matter what characters I play, people must be able to connect to them. Also, the role must be of someone who I want to bring to life,” she says, adding, “I would like to do all kinds of films with roles which are exciting and interesting,” she says.
