Actor Salman Khan (below) believes art and entertainment have no boundaries and that they shouldn’t be mixed with politics. Talking about the recent hullabaloo over prohibiting Pakistani artists from entering Maharashtra, the 49-yearold said: “Politics and art should not be mixed. Now that everything is digital, Indians love to watch every entertainment show, including Pakistani shows. Entertainment is evaluated by what common people want to watch.”

Salman added that casting an actor is “a creative decision of a producer” and that “Bollywood has a huge number of fans in Pakistan and earns a good share of income from the neighbouring country.”

Last month, Pakistani singer Ghulam Ali was forced to cancel his concert in India due to political interference. Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, who have Bollywood projects in their kitty, were also targeted by the Shiv Sena.
