Actor Shashank Arora (right), whose debut film produced by filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee has received good reviews, says he always wanted to enter the profession. However, shooting the film was tough, says Shashank. “I’ve been preparing to become an actor since I was five. But I never realised it’d be this tough shooting for my first film. But it has been an unreal blessing,” he says, adding, “I got rid of my nervousness of being in front of a camera a while ago. I‘ve been acting for seven years now. But we were shooting in a place as big as a bathroom. You are shooting 18 hours a day and sleeping for like 5 hours.”

The actor says that he has no specific genres in mind which he wants to be part of. “I am not limiting myself to genres. I am looking for a good story. If I like the story then I am on board. It’s as simple as that,” he says.
