Re­garded as a con­ti­nu­ity of Roger Moore, phys­i­cally fit and spon­ta­neous, Brosnan was never an ac­tor of high cal­i­bre. He was at best an av­er­age Bond. Dur­ing his stint as 007, the Bond films started los­ing out on con­tent. Spe­cial ef­fects were not enough to re­vamp a wan­ing 007. But Brosnan was still a mod­er­ate suc­cess as Bond.
