Fry used to call drugs ‘pudding’
British actor and standup comedian Stephen
Fry (above) says that he used drugs on a regular basis during the 1980s, but has insisted he would only do so after he had eaten his meal. “I would call it, rather creepily, ‘pudding’. But I’m so glad it’s over. I’ve seen that it’s done terrible harm to people,” Fry said at a TV talk show. Fry also said his drug use was linked to depression.
“I became dependent on taking these mixtures of drugs and keeping an even keel. But of course it’s a false control because each down is a bigger crash and that results in a bigger up,” the Sherlock Holmes star added.
