Fry used to call drugs ‘pud­ding’

Fry (above) says that he used drugs on a reg­u­lar ba­sis dur­ing the 1980s, but has in­sisted he would only do so af­ter he had eaten his meal. “I would call it, rather creep­ily, ‘pud­ding’. But I’m so glad it’s over. I’ve seen that it’s done ter­ri­ble harm to peo­ple,” Fry said at a TV talk show. Fry also said his drug use was linked to de­pres­sion.

“I be­came de­pen­dent on tak­ing th­ese mix­tures of drugs and keep­ing an even keel. But of course it’s a false con­trol be­cause each down is a big­ger crash and that re­sults in a big­ger up,” the Sher­lock Holmes star added.
