Actor Amitabh Bachchan (left) who is extremely social media savvy has a huge presence online — be it Facebook, Twitter or his personal blog. He was one of the first few actors to take up blogging and has been consistent with it till date. Recently, the actor told us the story of how he got hooked to blogging. “A couple of years back, someone came to me and said that I should have a website of my own. After researching I found out that there were many websites registered under my name, but none belonged to me. That is when I asked how long it would take for someone to design one for me. They said it would take around seven to eight months,” says Big B, and goes on to share, “I asked them if there was anything I could start with right away to interact with people and that is when the blog started. The first day I wrote one sentence and I got a single response, the next day I wrote two sentences and two people responded. Surely enough I started sharing tid-bits of my life and people started responding. Blogging is very personal but it helps me connect with my audience.”
