Salman liked me in my new film’s trailer, says Daisy Shah

Actor Daisy Shah (right), who made her debut with Salman Khan’s Jai ho (2014), says that the actor has seen the trailer of her upcoming film and appreciated it. “He liked it and was happy the way we (she and co-star Zarine Khan, who debuted with Salman in the 2010 film Veer) are moving forward with our career. He also mentioned that he has allowed us to work in this movie. So whoever thinks that he advised me not to take the movie, Salman made it clear for them,” she says.

The actor will be seen in a bold character in the film, but says that she is not just an attraction in the movie. “I think my character is not there just for entertainment. I am not just a showpiece in the movie. It is worth playing such a role. If my role wasn’t that much important, I would have not been featured prominently in the poster.” she adds.

Daisy, seen in a sensuous song in the trailer, shares that there are two songs picturised on her. “Earlier, it was decided that there would be one song, but then Vishal (Pandya, director of the film) added one more,” she says.

“I am playing strong headed business woman in the film who can go to any extent to protect her business,” she adds.
