How to rock winters in stylish, sexy boots

Someone rightly said, ‘You can’t buy happiness, but you can buy shoes. And, that’s kind of the same thing.’ So here are a few tips on how to style boots this winter season

Lace-up boots

One of the biggest fallwinter fashion trends is lace up boots. There are so many to choose from — over-the-knee, below-the-knees or ankle lace-ups. Pair your lace-up boots with knitted dresses and a leather jacket or blazer. It goes well with leggings and tunics as well. You can go for studded or metallic ones to add an edge to your look.

Combat boots

Make a fancy feminine dress work for the daytime by pairing it with combat boots. It makes the look way more casual. Combat boots toughen up floral dresses, and make them look more appropriate for fall weather.

Ankle boots

Throw fashion rules out the window and wear your ankle boots with visible socks pulled up and a skirt. Add a leather jacket for some added toughness. Ankle boots look amazing with a maxi dress or skirt.

Leather boots

Leather boots are classic and always stay in style. With so many options available in leather — over the knee, flat, heel, wedge, pointed toe and ankle, you have so much to experiment with. Leather boots work for casual outfits as well as formal events.

Thigh high boots

Style yourself with thigh-highs and an oversized coat, like model Miranda Kerr. If you’re wearing a lot of black or dark tones, a lighter-coloured boot provides some contrast and helps soften your look, while maintaining its edgy vibe. If you’re wearing a simple outfit, adding other interesting accents, such as an embellished belt and fringe purse to make your look more complete.
