Actor Aman Verma (above), who is the latest to be evicted from reality show Bigg Boss, says that while his exit was unexpected, he could not be someone he is not, just to gain TRPs.

“I am a little surprised myself because I expected to stay there much longer, but I could not turn into a completely different person just to bring more TRPs to the show,” says Aman.

“You need to be peculiar in a certain way to stay inside the house. I could not be a Suyyash Rai who would declare that he is ‘joru ka ghulam’ or be Kishwer Merchant, who decided to spit in water. Had my family seen me spitting in someone’s food, they would have disowned me. My mother would have stopped talking to me,” adds the actor.

Known for his roles in TV shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Verma has no regrets about his stay in the house. “I would rather be seen as a well read and polished man who has had a good upbringing rather than a man who is just the opposite, but a Bigg Boss winner,” says Verma, adding, “But if given a chance to go back inside the house, I would not say no to it. It is a game and I will always believe in playing it fairly.”

Ask him who he thinks might win the show, and he says, “After Keith’s exit, Rochelle is finally playing the game as who she is. She has the calibre to win it,” he says.
