While his uncle, actor Anil Kapoor, has made quite a name for himself in television with a fiction show, actor Arjun

Kapoor (above), who is also hosting a television show, says that films will always remain a priority for him. “If there is a great fiction show, I will of course be open to it. But for me, films will always remain an inherent love. Cinema allows you a lot more creative and artistic freedom than TV shows in that sense. So unless a show comes up which is cinematic in its treatment, I will stick to hosting on TV,” he says.

The actor, who will be seen hosting the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, says that he always wanted to do something more than just judging a reality show. “I would like to be a host where I am involved with the show and not just judging. That’s because I don’t think that I am really ready to be a judge; I am just three years old in the profession,” he says. “I didn’t want to be the guy who is just sitting and giving his comments and influencing the voters. I don’t think I am cut out for that yet,” adds the actor, who was last seen in Tevar alongside actor Sonakshi Sinha. He will next be seen in R Balki’s film with Kareena Kapoor Khan.
