Swara Bhaskar (left), who plays the role of Anarkali in her next film, seems to have already got the approval of her fans. The Bollywood actor, who was recently shooting in a village in UP, drew whistles and a big applause from the local crowd after her shot got over. “The scene also required Swara to fall at one point. We were shooting in Amroha and a big crowd had gathered. It was tough to keep people in control and they kept surging towards Swara. But she was unfazed and gave an intense shot of falling down. Even before the director could yell ‘ok’, there erupted an applause from the crowd for Swara,” says a source from the sets of the film.

Swara tells us that she has always enjoyed shooting in front of a live audience. “I love shooting in real locations. I sometimes get a response from the crowd and that feels great! That’s what happened in Amroha. These special moments tell me that my performance is working. It’s like getting a good remark on my report card,” she says.
