Ac­tor Bi­pasha Basu suf­fered in­juries on her face and hand af­ter her hair­dresser dropped hair curl­ing iron on her. How­ever, the ac­tor says she is fine now and is back to work.

Bi­pasha, who got up­set with the in­ci­dent, up­loaded pic­tures of her in­juries on In­sta­gram and wrote “Started my day of shoot with mul­ti­ple burns on my face and hands by a so-called se­nior hair stylist. She did not even flinch af­ter drop­ping the tong. In­hu­man. Think she came drunk to work. Un­be­liev­able!”

This was fol­lowed by an

out­pour of con­cern from her fans. A fan tweeted, “Burns are very painful. Hope you are tak­ing rest.” An­other tweeter fan posted. “Hope it’s not se­ri­ous and you get over it soon.” How­ever, the ac­tor de­cided to re­move that post af­ter some time from In­sta­gram and Twit­ter.

When con­tacted, Bi­pasha, who was last seen on the sil­ver screen in Alone (2015) said, “I am well now and shoot­ing. Was up­set with what hap­pened but it was a care­less accident. No more dis­cus­sion is re­quired.”

The ac­tor later thanked all her fans on Twit­ter by writ­ing, “Thank you for all the con­cern now. Am well now.” On a lighter note, she posted a pic­ture of her­self get­ting her hair styled and hold­ing a mir­ror in her hand as a bar­rier and cap­tioned it as, “Post this care­less accident, see my way of pro­tect­ing my­self from the mighty Tong! Am well and work­ing. Scars will take a while to go. FYI this is not the same stylist.”
