Actor Neil Bhoopalam (right) says that he doesn’t want to be part of shows where he has to play the same character over a long period. The actor, who will be seen in the second season of actor Anil Kapoor’s TV series, says that a reason he took up the show is because it has a limited number of episodes.

“When I play a character, I don’t want to play it for too long. I feel I will get burnt out if I have to continue to play the same character for long,” says Neil.

With the seasons format being a hit abroad, the actor says that it’s just a matter of time before Indian television adopts it as well. “We will get to that level very soon. The series format with a fixed number of episodes is still new here and the logistics of it need to be worked out. Once that is done, everyone will want to make shows in this format,” he says.
