Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Front Page -

“A man I didn’t know, somehow got my number and started messaging me on my Whatsapp, saying that he wants to be friends with me. When I told him that I am not interested, he morphed my Whatsapp profile picture and started blackmailing me that if I don’t talk to him he will show my morphed photos to everyone in locality and upload them on various adult sites. He stopped only after one of my friends called him, and told him we were filing a police complaint. Now I never put my own photo on Whatsapp. I was so traumatised by this experience. How can anyone do this? What safety is there for women on social media? Identity of the victim has been kept confidential
