While grow­ing up, it was a tra­di­tion to go to the ter­race on the last evening of Ramzan to spot the moon. Eid lunch used to be an elab­o­rate feast. My mom would pre­pare the choic­est of dishes. Her spicy Galawati ke­babs made with minced meat and roasted gram flour which melted in mouth were to die for.
