Runway inspo to rock Parisian chic
DESIGNERS DISPLAY AVANT-GARDE CREATION
■ Alexandre Vauthier: Sticking to military colours, the designer made his evening wear look as sexy as he could. He used woven mesh instead of metal to boost the fluidity of fabric in the collection.
■ Armani Prive: The collection included a lot of velvet garments encrusted with Swarovski crystals. With a lot of plunging necklines in the collection, it was more ‘30s inspired.
■ Chanel: Tweed dresses with embroidery were the highlight from Chanel. The welldefined shoulders made for an arresting sight and Karl Lagerfeld made sure that he managed to hit all the right fashion notes.
■ Atelier Versace: Karen Elson set the ramp on fire in a striking Atelier Versace outfit at the Paris Fashion Week: Haute Couture. The colours used in the outfit were scintillating.
■ Schiaparelli: It provided a fresh take on fashion with vivid silhouttes and designs in their collection. It saw the return of haute couture bloomers.
