LOST IN FLORENCE
Florence is a three-hour bus ride from Rome, and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of this city and its Renaissance art. We walked to Ponte Vecchio, a medieval arch bridge over the river Arno. It makes for a picturesque sight post sunset. We also visited the Giardino delle rose (The Rose Garden). Reaching the garden, situated atop a hill, involved some effort, but it was worth it. The view of the city from here will take your breath away. Carry some snacks and wine, as you can sit at the garden for hours and enjoy the sunset. You can also make your way to one of the most-happening places in Florence — the Piazza della Republica. It is filled with cafés and gelato parlours.
