Will go where good stories take me: Irrfan Khan
With some of the best international projects to his credit, actor Irrfan Khan (right) has never had a dearth of meaty roles and he says that will continue to chase good stories around the globe.
The actor has just finished a Bangladeshi film, an European drama and an Hollywood drama with actor Tom Hanks.“I want to do films everywhere. I am not bound by any place. I can go anywhere to do an interesting film. I just finished shooting a Bangladeshi film and then I am involved with an European film. I’m doing films everywhere,” says Irrfan.
In Bollywood, the 49-yearold actor has reunited with director Nishikant Kamat for their upcoming film, where his wife Sutupa Sikdar is also one of the producers. Irrfan developed the story and while looking for a director they zeroed on Kamat. “We developed the script and we were looking for a director who would do justice to it. We went to Nishikant and he loved the story,” he says
