“Homemade masks that are made using natural ingredients can be a good idea for your hair during the rains, as they help reduce the frizz,” says Dr Apratim Goel, dermatologist and laser surgeon. Banana mask: Mash a banana with an egg and add a dash of olive oil. Wash your hair 30 minutes after you have applied this mask. This works well to combat frizz.

Honey mask: Mix two parts of any oil (almond or coconut oil) with one part honey. Wash your hair 20 minutes after you apply this mask.

Methi mask: Soak fenugreek seeds overnight in water. Strain the water the next morning, and rinse your hair with this mask to tackle dandruff, or dull and limp hair.

Yoghurt mask: Mix one egg with 2tbsp yoghurt and wash your hair after you apply this mask. This mask leaves the hair feeling shiny, bouncy.
