Television actor Shashank Vyas (right) is a travel junkie. The actor recently returned from Manali after a refreshing holiday with his friends.

“I had an amazing time with my school buddies. Though it was raining, the weather was just superb. This was my second trip to Manali but this time I covered all the places where I did not go during my last visit. We later went to places like Bhagsu, McLeod Ganj and Kasol,” says Shashank.

Talking about the importance of travelling in his life, Shashank says it helps him evolve as an actor. “If you ask me what I love the most, I would say acting and travelling. Travelling to different places makes you learn so much. This time I did not stay in a luxury resort. Rather, I opted for an average place. I also travelled by local transport to get the real feel. As an artist, I observed so many new things which will help me in my shows,” he says.

“Although I love my job, managing long schedules is challenging and travelling helps me relax,” he adds.
