I’m still middle class: John

He may be a Bollywood star with a huge fan following, but John Abraham (left) says he is still rooted to his middle class values. The actor, who recently met some school students, says he enjoys visiting schools. And that meeting kids face-to-face helps them understand that stars, too, are after all, just humans.

“Like how I sat with the kids, they feel that, ‘He is our guy, he talks like us and he is a normal man and we can relate to him... His values are quite middle class’, which are like their values. They like it as I belong to a middle class family, and I am still middle class. My values, my parents are very middle class. I would suggest the kids not to lose their value system,” says John, who also shared some words of wisdom with the children — “Three things are very important. First, education. Secondly, even if parents (or anyone) tell you to give bribes, don’t because there is a lot of corruption in this country. Thirdly, all are equal, so treat everyone with respect.”
