Aditi Rao Hy­dari gets Bi­hari ac­cent right for film

Ac­tor Aditi Rao Hy­dari (right) will play the role of a Bi­hari girl in her next film The Leg­end of Michael Mishra and is not leav­ing any stone un­turned to make her por­trayal is re­al­is­tic.

“Aditi likes to get un­der the skin of the char­ac­ter to bring au­then­tic­ity. For the char­ac­ter of a mod­ern Bi­hari girl, she took lessons and un­der­went work­shops to get the ac­cent right. Al­though she is not speak­ing ru­ral Bi­hari in the film, get­ting the ac­cent and the way cer­tain words are spo­ken was im­por­tant for her char­ac­ter. She also watched a few Bi­hari movies to un­der­stand the lan­guage bet­ter” says the ac­tor’s spokesper­son.

The ac­tor, who was last seen in Wazir (2016), is a per­fec­tion­ist. A source adds, “Aditi in­ter­acted with the lo­cals to get the body lan­guage and ac­cent right. It helped her in a big way.”
