A REVAMPED TROUSSEAU
From beaded tassels to ruffles — here’s a trend report from Day 4 of India Couture Week 2016
The penultimate day of India Couture Week 2016 saw two designers — Varun Bahl and Gaurav Gupta, showcase signature designs. While Bahl stuck to his love for florals, with his collection, Vintage Garden, Gupta showcased Song of Scape on the runway.
While both the designers did not deviate from their trademark styles, there was ample inspiration for brides and grooms who want to play it a bit different for their wedding. The sari saw re-interpretation with the infusion of sculpted blouses, while the kurta was revamped to play with a high-low hemline. Check out some trends we loved from Day 4 of the Couture Week in the city.
