SWARA BHASKAR TOLD TO LOSE WEIGHT FOR UPCOMING FILM

Actor Swara Bhaskar (above) has revealed that the makers of her upcoming film have asked her to shed some kilos for her role.

The movie, produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor, has an all-female cast which includes Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

“We are going all out in September. I am very excited. I have been instructed to lose weight, so all my hardwork and effort is going into my diet,” Swara said in an interview recently. The 28-year-old actor said the tone of the film is happy and light but it has an empowering story.

“It’s a very empowering story. It is a fun and happy story where there are many powerful female characters. It is not necessary that every story about women have to be about rona-dhona, abla naari and their struggles.

“Women have fun too, they dance and party. We have all done that. It is about today’s women and their real problems,” she said.

The film will be directed by director, Shashank Ghosh.
