Jolie’s father rooting for Brangelina
Veteran American actor Jon Voight (above) says he’s rooting for daughter, actor Angelina Jolie, and her estranged husband Brad Pitt (inset), even though the pair split last year.
“It’s a difficult time, and I don’t like to talk about it, but of course, I’m thankful for everybody’s good wishes and prayers. And I hope things work out,” usmagazine.com quoted Voight as saying.
Pitt and Jolie, who are parents to six children — Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8 — have a voluntary temporary custody agreement in place that allows Pitt supervised visitation with the children.
Asked about Jolie and Pitt’s custody agreement, Voight said he is remaining hopeful about the future of the former couple’s relationship for the sake of his grandchildren.
“I’m rooting for them. I don’t want this to dissolve. I’m rooting for the kids. My heart is with everybody, and my daughter, certainly, and the children,” the Ray Donovan star said.
