Whether you’re heading to the coast to soak up the summer sun or climbing the hills to enjoy the chilly air, you ought to look fresh and good. While it can sometimes be hard to look good when travelling, one can look fresh by following a few basic tips.

Don’t forget to hydrate: No matter where you are heading, you ought to drink loads of water. Drinking water before and during your flight or train or car or cruise will keep your body feeling healthy and your skin looking fresh. Keep your fluid level high; drink water throughout your day. Staying hydrated will help to prevent any headaches or exhaustion you might normally have during travelling.

Moisturise your skin: If you are travelling by flight, the high altitude and intense air conditioning on a plane are bound to dry your skin. It is best to generously apply your daily facial moisturiser before the flight. Also, bring along spring water toner in a spray bottle to spritz on dehydrated skin. Spring water is incredibly hydrating, so if you spray it directly on your face, it gets moisture into the skin immediately.

Lip cleanse: While travelling your lips are susceptible to crinkling and cracking. It’s best to stick to a medicated lip balm to ensure completely smooth, hydrated lips.

Carry cleansing wipes: Wipe off the excess oil or dirt from your face with it. Also, carry good quality cleansing milk with you apply it at night.

Complete your beauty sleep: It is recommended to sleep properly as lack of sleep will kill the joy of travelling.
