Trump’s win made Lena Dunham slim

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Time Out -

American actor Lena Dunham (right) says the “soul-crushing pain” of Donald Trump’s (inset) US election victory made her shed weight. She revealed on a radio show that she has none other than Trump to thank for her slim figure, reports people.com.

“Donald Trump became President and I stopped being able to eat food. Everyone’s been asking like, ‘What have you been doing?’ And I’m like, ‘Try soul-crushing pain, devastation and hopelessness. You, too, will lose weight’.”

Dunham, 30, who famously pledged a move to Canada if Trump won, also clarified her comments saying that, at the time, a win for the 70-year-old tycoon seemed like an impossible joke. “I was like, ‘The most qualified candidate we’ve ever had is running against a steak salesman. We’re going to be fine.’”
