Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Front Page -

Despite doing many daredevil fighting scenes in films, actor Taapsee Pannu (right) says in real life, she can’t even slap a person.

Taapsee showcased her fighting skills in Baby (2015) alongside actor Akshay Kumar. She will be seen doing high octane action in two more films. Talking about her new film, she says: “Till now, whatever you have seen, like even though I can identify myself as Meenal Arora (character from Pink) in a lot of ways... I cannot even slap a person in real life, forget about fighting the way I do in films.”

Taapsee says this is the first film where she is totally in her comfort zone. “This is my domain and have total control over it. I was chosen because I had to just come as myself on screen. It’s a blessing for an actor. I didn’t have to put in any kind of efforts in terms of accent, body language or style,” says Taapsee, whose character exudes a carefree attitude in the film.

We aren’t defended by the press or the establishment. I urge leaders to be role models instead of actors RICHA CHADHA, ACTOR Where’s the support? A Shah Rukh or a Salman Khan have made political comments and it backfired, which is unfair ONIR, FILMMAKER I didn’t have to put in any kind of efforts in terms of accent, body language or style.
