Milla wants daugh­ter to avoid act­ing

Hol­ly­wood ac­tor Milla Jovovich (right) has said she didn’t want her daugh­ter to be an ac­tor.

The 42-year-old, who be­gan her show­biz ca­reer when she was just 11 years old, was very proud when nine-year-old daugh­ter, Ever fea­tured along­side her in Res­i­dent Evil: The Fi­nal Chap­ter.

But she said she had ini­tially tried to dis­suade the young­ster when she first ex­pressed a de­sire to fol­low in her mother’s foot­steps, re­ported Hello mag­a­zine.

Jovovich, who also has 22-month-old Dashiel with hus­band Paul WS An­der­son, said, “It was the most un­for­get­table ex­pe­ri­ence as an ac­tor and a mother to be on set with my lit­tle girl. But when she first talked about act­ing, she was only five, so my ini­tial in­stinct was, ‘No.’”
