Manav dislikes the term ‘character artists’

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Entertainment -

Actor Manav Kaul (right) says it’s about time people stop addressing certain actors as character artists.

“I don’t like the term. I think it is very demeaning. It sort of puts you in a box. It becomes difficult to break that then,” Manav said.

He is also impressed at how filmmakers are now giving importance to good actors in leading roles.“People are taking good actors in prominent roles and they are playing strong characters, not the standard ‘hero-heroine’ material.”
