‘My film isn’t a Salman Khan production’
Actor Sidharth Malhotra says that contrary to reports, actor Salman Khan has nothing to do with the film he’s doing
There were reports that filmmaker Karan Johar put in a word for actor Sidharth Malhotra (right) to Bollywood star Salman Khan, who is on a hunt for a hero for his next venture. However, the Student of the Year star has revealed that he is doing only one film as of now, and it is not a Salman Khan production, as is being reported.
“The only film I’m doing is Ittefaq... Nothing else is official,” said the 32-year-old actor, whose pictures with actor Alia Bhatt surfaced online on Valentine’s Day. His reaction when asked about it? “Where? Whose house??” But how was V-Day anyway? “It was very good, like any other day,” he said.
Meanwhile, the pet lover recently spent time with pups and dogs at a pet festival in Mumbai, and gave away awards to canines. “This is wonderful. More and more animals need to be taken care of in India. It’s great to see such adorable dogs that have come from outside Mumbai as well,” said Sidharth. He promised to take his pet, Oscar, along next year.
The actor admitted he’s obsessed with his dog, something that fans already know, thanks to his social media updates. He also narrated an incident about his first dog. “My parents gifted me a dog. It was a puppy of barely twothree weeks. I was around 10 years old and thought it was a male dog. I took it to the vet after a month, and it was then that I found out that it was female.”
