Television actor Ridhi Dogra (far right), who is married to actor Raqesh Vashisth (right), says that it’s great to be married with someone from the industry. “The advantages of being married to an actor are plenty. Firstly, you understand each other’s work. It’s easy to understand the ups and downs of each other’s professions. In fact, you can even help each other in taking important decisions,” says Riddhi, who met Raqesh on the sets of their show Maryada— Lekin Kab Tak (2010) and got married in May 2011.

She reveals that though they are in the same profession, she and her husband are different individuals. “I think we’re different as we made sure to not become mirror images of each other. We’ve our own minds and have different opinions,” she says.

As far as her career goes, Ridhi, who has been part of shows such as Laagi Tujhse Lagan, says, “I want to do characters that scare me and are difficult for me to play,” says Ridhi.
