Legendary singer and actor, Kishore Kumar’s son, singer Amit Kumar (above) has created a niche for himself with songs such as Bade ache lagte hai, Yaad aa raha hai and others. He also ventured into acting but he says composing is what he enjoys doing the most. “I love composing. I think I’m a better composer than a singer. ,” he says.

Now with season 2 of Crazy For Kishore on Radio Nasha 107.2, he says he is enjoying being on air.

About the radio show, he says, “I’ve given them an idea for season 2. I told the producer that we should start from the day he died and go backwards to when he started, covering ’80s, ’70s, ’60s and then talk about how he came to Bombay,” he explains.

He adds the team of the show has been extremely supportive. “Crazy For Kishore season 1 has done very well. I think it makes a difference that his blood is talking, otherwise the impact wouldn’t be so much,” he adds.
