Priyanka Cho­pra says work­ing for tele­vi­sion was a great learn­ing ex­pe­ri­ence for her

Ac­tor Priyanka Cho­pra (left), who has hosted a sea­son of of ac­tion­ad­ven­ture TV show Kha­tron Ke Khi­ladi in 2010, wants to ex­plore dif­fer­ent facets of the In­dian small screen.

After mak­ing a mark in Bol­ly­wood, Priyanka started her in­ter­na­tional ca­reer with music sin­gles. She got more vis­i­bil­ity after es­say­ing the role of FBI agent Alex Par­rish in an Amer­i­can TV series.

“I’ve done TV in In­dia seven years ago. I’m al­ways open to do dif­fer­ent things and In­dian TV is def­i­nitely one of them,” Priyanka said.

She added: “TV re­quires a lot of time and cur­rently, I have my plate full. But as I al­ways say never say never!”

On what kind of op­por­tu­ni­ties will lure her to­wards In­dian small screen, Priyanka said, “I don’t like to re­strict my­self... If the plot, sto­ry­line and writ­ers are good... I’m sold.”

The ac­tor, who will soon make her Hollywood de­but, says that work­ing on tele­vi­sion has been an en­rich­ing ex­pe­ri­ence. “TV is a dif­fer­ent medium and that in it­self was a big learn­ing for me as an ac­tor. Also, as an in­di­vid­ual, having to deal with ca­reers on two dif­fer­ent con­ti­nents, adapt­ing to new re­quire­ments, be­ing away from home and all that, has been a learn­ing. All in all, it’s been great.”
