Priyanka Chopra says working for television was a great learning experience for her
Actor Priyanka Chopra (left), who has hosted a season of of actionadventure TV show Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2010, wants to explore different facets of the Indian small screen.
After making a mark in Bollywood, Priyanka started her international career with music singles. She got more visibility after essaying the role of FBI agent Alex Parrish in an American TV series.
“I’ve done TV in India seven years ago. I’m always open to do different things and Indian TV is definitely one of them,” Priyanka said.
She added: “TV requires a lot of time and currently, I have my plate full. But as I always say never say never!”
On what kind of opportunities will lure her towards Indian small screen, Priyanka said, “I don’t like to restrict myself... If the plot, storyline and writers are good... I’m sold.”
The actor, who will soon make her Hollywood debut, says that working on television has been an enriching experience. “TV is a different medium and that in itself was a big learning for me as an actor. Also, as an individual, having to deal with careers on two different continents, adapting to new requirements, being away from home and all that, has been a learning. All in all, it’s been great.”
