Singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham (left) says being in the former pop girl group, Spice Girls, has given her a lot of opportunities to learn.

In an interview with a reputed magazine, the 42-year-old opens up about how her pop star beginning played a role in building her fashion empire, Entertainment Tonight.

“Being a part of the Spice Girls was fun. I was never the best singer or dancer. I learned a lot during that time, though the entire package—the staging, the lighting, the costumes, excited me,” she says.

“But, I love fashion. The way, I dressed and behaved in the past was probably a sign of my insecurities. I feel confident now and getting older doesn’t bother me,” she adds.
