Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is a sim­ple Ital­ian dish that is made from gar­lic, olive oil, pars­ley, and Parmi­gianoReg­giano cheese tossed with cooked pasta. The dish orig­i­nated in Naples, Italy. The dish may have been orig­i­nated in Italy but it be­came fa­mous in New York. The Americans at times, re­fer this dish as “alla-ul”.
