Steve Bannon is a bloated punk: Sean Penn

Hindustan Times (Patna) - Live - - Entertainment -

Long before ex-film producer Steve Bannon’s (below) rise to political power as chief strategist in the Trump administration, he was a film producer trying to hack it in Hollywood. While he might no longer have his sights on Hollywood anymore, he did kickstart his film career working with American actor Sean Penn (left) in 1991, helping produce the actor’s directorial debut, The Indian Runner. When asked about this, Penn said, “Bannon was then, as he is now, simply another bitter Hollywood wannabe who went rogue by way of toxic narcissistic iconoclasm.”

He further added, “But, deep in his heart, he’s just a conniving hateful bloated punk who despises mankind.”

Penn is not the only Hollywood star to take a shot at Bannon as actor George Clooney had earlier told a French news channel that, “Steve Bannon is a failed film writer and director.”
