Actor Salman Khan, who is known for his flamboyant image and colourful life, says he would not be able to write his autobiography.

Present at the launch of veteran actor Asha Parekh’s autobiography, Salman said, “Writing an autobiography, unveiling your life story is very tough, I won’t be able to write one.” He quipped, “I think, Dharam ji (Dharmendra) will understand why.”

Salman also drew comparisons between current female actors and the yesteryear ones. “In those days Asha aunty, Saira (Banu) aunty, Helen aunty among others were close to each other. They were genuine friends. I think, these days girls should learn from them, as they lead a great life. Our generation misses that out,” he said.

Thanking Salman for writing the foreword of her book, Asha said, “The idea of writing an autobiography came along with questions. But, I speak the truth in my book; I tried to be honest without sensationalising anything. I’m thankful to the people, who supported me in film industry and my fans to keep showing interest in my work and life.”
