Actor Manasi Joshi Roy (left) just got back from Barcelona, where she was holidaying with husband, Rohit Roy. Coming back from a good break, Manasi reminisces, “We landed in Barcelona a day before Rohit’s birthday (April 5) and began the celebrations with a nice stroll down Los Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter. On his birthday, we had a nice champagne breakfast from the hotel that overlooked the beautiful city of Barcelona.”

The self-confessed travel junkie, who remembers her childhood fascination to travel the world, says, “As a kid, while reading Enid Blyton stories, I used to travel to the English countryside in my dreams. After growing up, every novel that I read, which is placed in a foreign locale, inspires me to travel.” Manasi, who recently made a comeback to television after 12 years, is happy to have chosen a profession that requires her to travel.“From New York to Kanpur, I’m happy that my work lets me see new places, explore new cultures, new cuisines and a new way of life. I believe, travel opens your horizons like no other activity can.”
