Actor Nandini Gupta (above) can’t thank God enough for giving her a second lease of life after she narrowly escaped a near-fatal car accident on Saturday morning at the Western Express Highway in Mumbai. “I am thankful to God for saving my life. It was a miracle that I escaped death,” she tells us. Nandini was on her way to shoot for her TV show, when her car was hit from the side by another car, while turning at a traffic signal.

Despite internal injuries, Nandini went to the sets and shot for the show, which left her co-stars shocked. “They [cast and crew of the show] helped me get out of the trauma. They took really good care of me,” says the 23-year-old actor.

“Though she went through the horrible accident and trauma, she kept everything to herself. She went alone for the police investigation” says a source.
