It is well known that Varun Dhawan will be seen in a double role in his father David Dhawan’s film Judwaa 2.

The actor reveals that “he has obviously spent time” with his father to discuss the film, but he also wants to meet director-writer Gulzar.

“I have been watching films that have double roles and I recently saw Angoor. In fact, I have seen it twice,” Varun says about the film, which was directed by Gulzar and was loosely based on William Shakespeare’s play, The Comedy of Errors.

Varun says, “I want to go and meet Gulzar saab and ask him about the film and how it was directing [cast members] Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Varma, and about the whole set-up, and what they were thinking when they were making it. It’d be interesting to know the thought behind every scene.”

The actor feels there are many “small things” in Angoor that are extremely funny. “It’d be interesting to know how they came up with those ideas,” he says.
