Soha Ali Khan is brimming over with joy — you can’t miss the pregnancy glow on her face.

Calling it an “exciting phase and a big deal”, the actor, who met us in Delhi, says, “Kunal [Kemmu, her husband] and I, we’re both very new to this. We always get very nervous talking about things that are so personal but we’ve made an announcement and Kunal came out with a statement as well, confirming the news. We still have a while to go, so we’re just looking for positive vibes ad blessings from everyone around us.”

About Kunal’s reaction upon learning of her pregnancy, Soha quips, “I’m not telling anybody what he said. That’s very private. Actually, I don’t want to talk about it too much, apart from saying that we both are clueless about being parents.”

As an actor, Soha, 38, has always been compared to her actor brother Saif Ali Khan. She’s not being spared in her pregnancy — now the comparison is with sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, whose son, named Taimur, was born last December.

Soha says, “Nobody wants comparisons, because everybody is different. Some are required to rest more; some are healthy and sail through their pregnancy.” She maintains that she’s doing things according to her own comfort level. “When I don’t feel I have the energy to do something, I don’t do it,” she says. “I’m not taking on too much because this is my priority and everything

else takes a backseat.”
