The nepotism debate refuses to fade away anytime soon. Ever since actor Kangana Ranaut accused filmmaker Karan Johar of being the “flagbearer of nepotism in the film industry”, mixed reactions have been pouring in, with the film fraternity taking sides. The latest to join the debate is actor Arjun Kapoor (right), son of film producer Boney Kapoor.Stating that nepotism exists in all fields and not just in Bollywood, Arjun says, “In every business, parents want their children to be a part of their profession and if the child is interested, then they educate him and make him capable of working in their profession.”

“Of course, it is a bit easier for us [actors], but at the end of the day, it is business. A director won’t take us if we are not saleable. So you have to be worth it,” adds Arjun, who would be next seen alongside Shraddha Kapoor in a film directed by Mohit Suri.
