A clas­sic cock­tail, Alphonso Margarita is made us­ing tequila and the king of man­goes, alphonso or hapoos. To make a fresh batch, take a ripe alphonso, peel the skin and scoop out the pulp. Now, add freshly-squeezed le­mon, a pinch of salt and grounded car­damom power to 100gm of this pulp. Then, add 60ml of tequila, blend all the in­gre­di­ents to­gether till it be­comes smooth. Serve in a chilled margarita glass rimmed with car­damom pow­der. This is per­fect for a sun­downer on the ter­race with your besties.
