A classic cocktail, Alphonso Margarita is made using tequila and the king of mangoes, alphonso or hapoos. To make a fresh batch, take a ripe alphonso, peel the skin and scoop out the pulp. Now, add freshly-squeezed lemon, a pinch of salt and grounded cardamom power to 100gm of this pulp. Then, add 60ml of tequila, blend all the ingredients together till it becomes smooth. Serve in a chilled margarita glass rimmed with cardamom powder. This is perfect for a sundowner on the terrace with your besties.
