Tamannaah on being upset with Rajamouli: It’s a baseless rumour
Actor Tamannaah Bhatia (below) has trashed rumours that she’s upset with director SS Rajamouli (inset) for chopping her role in Bahubali 2: The Conclusion. Calling the rumours baseless, she says that she is very happy with the response the film has received.
“This is imagination of somebody who is very jobless. I am and will always be thankful to Rajamouli sir for casting me as Avanthika. This news is baseless and I am very happy that I worked in this film,” says Tamannaah.
On Monday morning, reports started doing rounds that the 27-year-old actor is miffed with the filmmaker for chopping many of her scenes in the film during the final edit. However, Tamannaah says, “I always knew what my role was. I have great respect for Rajamouli sir and I am proud to be a part of such a cult film. This film has changed my life as an actor and has absolutely raised the bar for everyone in the film industry.”
Recently, the film crossed `1000 crore mark at the box office and Rajamouli has hinted at making the third instalment of the franchise. Hindi version of the film was presented by filmmaker Karan Johar.
