Ta­man­naah on be­ing up­set with Ra­jamouli: It’s a base­less ru­mour

Ac­tor Ta­man­naah Bha­tia (be­low) has trashed ru­mours that she’s up­set with di­rec­tor SS Ra­jamouli (in­set) for chop­ping her role in Bahubali 2: The Con­clu­sion. Call­ing the ru­mours base­less, she says that she is very happy with the re­sponse the film has re­ceived.

“This is imag­i­na­tion of some­body who is very job­less. I am and will al­ways be thank­ful to Ra­jamouli sir for cast­ing me as Avan­thika. This news is base­less and I am very happy that I worked in this film,” says Ta­man­naah.

On Mon­day morn­ing, re­ports started do­ing rounds that the 27-year-old ac­tor is miffed with the film­maker for chop­ping many of her scenes in the film dur­ing the fi­nal edit. How­ever, Ta­man­naah says, “I al­ways knew what my role was. I have great re­spect for Ra­jamouli sir and I am proud to be a part of such a cult film. This film has changed my life as an ac­tor and has ab­so­lutely raised the bar for ev­ery­one in the film in­dus­try.”

Re­cently, the film crossed `1000 crore mark at the box of­fice and Ra­jamouli has hinted at mak­ing the third in­stal­ment of the fran­chise. Hindi ver­sion of the film was pre­sented by film­maker Karan Jo­har.
